Large private residential project in Dublin 14, involving the construction of a new detached two storey over basement dwelling with ancillary accommodation, landscaped external areas and associated site works.
My involvement was during the construction stage, with a particular focus on the design development and detailing of the basement leisure areas. This included spaces such as the gym, cinema, pool area and home bar. The work required careful coordination of internal layouts, finishes, junctions, lighting, services and detailed design information to support the construction team on site.
This project gave me early practical experience of high end residential construction and the level of detail required to bring internal leisure and amenity spaces from design intent through to built form.
