Redevelopment of a former B&B/guesthouse on Stillorgan Road into purpose built student accommodation. The project originally received planning permission for conversion and extension of the existing building, but following structural investigations the scheme was revised to demolish the existing structure and provide a new student accommodation building. A further revised application was later prepared to increase the building to three storeys, providing 24 student bedspaces with shared kitchen & living facilities.
My role included assisting with revised planning drawings, tender and construction stage updates and FSC/DAC documentation as the project evolved through multiple permissions and design changes. I worked alongside senior architects to update drawings in line with revised layouts, Building Regulations requirements and planning conditions. I also produced visualisations and 3D walkthrough videos for marketing purposes before the building was completed.
