New-build Toyota and Lexus motor sales and service facility in Naas, including two branded showrooms, service workshop, offices, customer facilities, vehicle display areas and site infrastructure. The project has gone through a detailed design and approvals process, including two successful planning applications and two tender processes, with construction due to commence shortly on site using the 7 Day Notice route.
As Project Architect, I acted as the day-to-day architectural lead under Director oversight, coordinating internal team members, consultant input, drawing production, planning documentation, tender information and pre-construction coordination. My involvement has been extensive, from planning-stage design development through to tender and preparation for site commencement. I also produced 3D rendered imagery and a walkthrough video for the client during the early design/planning stage, helping communicate the proposal before the first planning application was submitted.
This project is one of my strongest examples of working as Project Architect on a large commercial development, involving planning strategy, client and consultant coordination, tender documentation, contractor engagement and preparation for construction.
