I have worked on the development and coordination of standard signage, joinery and AV elements for the Toyota National Retail Concept rollout across Ireland. The rollout involved adapting Toyota Europe’s updated Retail Concept to 43 existing dealership sites, introducing a cleaner and more consistent visual identity across showroom interiors, external façades, wayfinding and customer-facing areas.
Prior to the individual dealership projects, the pre-rollout phase extended over approximately 18 months and involved the development of detailed standard joinery and signage drawing packages, schedules and tender information. I was involved in preparing these detailed packages and assisting with the pre-selection of Irish joinery and signage contractors for the rollout. These standard packages were then adapted to suit different existing buildings, with the selected specialist contractors typically appointed as nominated subcontractors under the main contract for each dealership project.
